UAW Gaming Council meets in Atlantic City
The UAW Gaming Council held it's first meeting in Atlantic City last week to discuss bargaining and organizing strategies in the industry. The three-day event brought together dealers, slot technicians and cashiers from across the United States and Canada.
Representatives attended from Bally’s, Caesars, Tropicana and Trump Plaza in Atlantic City; Greektown, MGM and Motor City casinos in Detroit; Casino Aztar in Evansville, Indiana, and Caesars Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
The event was a great opportunity for casino workers to find solutions for their common problems and to network and strategize around the needs of gaming workers everywhere. Delegates are looking forward to the next council meeting so they can continue their progress in organizing casinos.
